In the tradition of the hit series Survivorman, Survive This follows in Les Stroud's footsteps by empowering kids to explore their connection to the wild.
Eight kids between the ages of 14 to 17 are taken into the wilderness with Les Stroud as their mentor. Chosen for their unique personalities and overall adventure readiness, these kids are vying to fulfill a self-determined goal that is both personal and inspiring. They are challenged physically, emotionally and intellectually. Each episode presents a different survival challenge - devised by Les Stround himself! Over the course of the series, we get to know the kids very well as relationships develop, conflicts erupt and emotions run wild. Les IS Survivorman, and he knows better than anyone that sometimes when it comes to survival you only get one chance. He'll be looking for that individual who is willing to learn and grow under the most difficult situations. And yes - these kids do have to survive.

Hello, I am Erika Lesher and I am 14 going to be 15 in one month, and I believe that I have what it takes to be a survivor. If someone could, would they please contact me with information about tryouts and what I have to do to become a part of this experience.

Hey I’m Jared and was wondering how to get on the show. I’m 13 and could be somewhat of a funny guy and could be the sarcastic kid from the suburbs. I’m also a fan of the show and have some survival skills. So for season 2 or a season in the near future i could be a character. I could also bring ratings up with the comedy which means more money in your pocket.

I think i have what it takes to survive. I want to push my self to my limmits and hopefully suceed, with my determinationn. I want to do this for me, and be independent. I think being outdoors is awsome but the whole idea of surviving outdoors is even cooler and a challenge im willing to take. I watched the advertisements on T.V. and I have to say that I think I could do the show. The problem is I have no idea where to tryout for the show. So if you could please anyone let me know, because this show looks like a challenge and I really need one.
Hi my name is Travis Banet i just turned fifteen and I’ve grown up in the country in southern Indiana. My father has taught me to hunt, fish, and shown me what it was like to be in the forest since I was very young. My family and I have even gone a few miles into nearby state land and tried to build survival shelters just to see how well we could do this and how quickly we could we could build adequate survival shelters. I’m very fit I run track, do Tae Kwon Do, play tennis, and I even try to lift weights that we have at home. I swim in our pool almost everyday, so I am fairly adept in the water. I have passed both hunters education and boater safety classes that were required at our school. I hunt with a recurve bow and also in firearm season as well. Though I mainly just hunt during deer season. If there is a more formal way to sign up for the show I would greatly appreciate any information that anyone has on how to apply.

Les, I’m a scout out to prove that the BSA is about more than tying nots and helping old ladies across the street. You inspired me many years ago to develope my survival skills and they have helped on many occasions. I am an avid hiker and I am taking on the HH exspirience, Northern Tier and Philmont. It has been my dream to prove to myself that I can survive. I beleive that SURVIVE THIS is the best opportunity I could ever have. I am 15 and would greatly appreciate any info on auditions or contacts.

Hey Im really interested in being apart of the show. I’m 18 years old so I may be to old but I have learned a lot from you and Im still learning by watching your shows over and over. Being apart of your show survive this would be a great opportunity to see if I really have what it takes to survive and to see if I truly have learned anything at all. i was wondering when the next seriesw will start because if its after august of this year i would greatly like to be a part of it. it would help me learn to be a more responsible individual and show me how hard it is for the people who actualy do get lost and stranded. it would also greatly benifit me in teaching me to ration what i have and be greatful for it. if there is a more formal way of entry would some one plese let me know.

Sup my name is Grant I think I know what it takes to survie I have just completed spending almost two days out in the woods With onley a flint start a pot{for water]and watch[can use the watch for a compess]and the clothes on my back.The nights where hard with the rain but you got do what you got to do. I have the mentel mind that I can expereince such conditions. I have been loving the woods all my life I have never been on tv I don’t watch a lot of tv. In the summer I camp swim work out and work on our farm.I have what it takes!

Hey Les, my name is Jacob and im a big fan. I live in Atlanta Georgia, but I love the wilderness. You’re videos really helped me because just about a year ago, me and my Grandpa were out hunting in the north Georgia mountains. While we were there we were following the trail of a big buck when when we realized it was getting dark. We got lost out in the woods, and were out there for 3 days. Ur videos helped us survive.
