No videogames, no Internet, no food court… no kidding! This is real.
In the tradition of the hit series Survivorman, Survive This follows in Les Stroud’s footsteps by empowering kids to explore their connection to the wild.
Eight kids between the ages of 14 to 17 are taken into the wilderness with Les Stroud as their mentor. Chosen for their unique personalities and overall adventure readiness, these kids are vying to fulfill a self-determined goal that is both personal and inspiring. They are challenged physically, emotionally and intellectually. Each episode presents a different survival challenge – devised by Les Stround himself! Over the course of the series, we get to know the kids very well as relationships develop, conflicts erupt and emotions run wild. Les IS Survivorman, and he knows better than anyone that sometimes when it comes to survival you only get one chance. He’ll be looking for that individual who is willing to learn and grow under the most difficult situations. And yes – these kids do have to survive.

I Am 13, I am a very athletic girl also im in army cadet and got a exellence fitness in it.I love the outdoors and camping and have lots of expireance out doors to.I do volleyball,horsebackriding and almost all sports. I would love any challenge.I know how to shot an riffle and know how to make hunting tools.I love watching surviver man and to get survivel tips too!
My name is Jacob Jackley, I’m 15yrs old and have watched the show survive this and would like a chance to challange myself on your show. I have been a hunter and fisherman since before I could remember. I have also done a little bit of trapping. I’m in excellent physical condition; I run cross country and love to swim which I’ve done competatively from the age of 5. I love the outdoors and there is no place I would rather spend my time. I also enjoy showshoeing, hiking and have an interest in rock climbing and enjoy wild edibles. I love a physical challange and have great physical and mental stamina and a never quit attitude when given a challange. A lack of food or sleep will not discourage me from completing a task. In my future I hope to join the US Marine Corps and continue to challage myself. I look forward to the opportunity to participate in “Survive This” and hope to hear from you soon, Thank you, Jacob.

Besides the fact I want to become a part of the team….but there’s a one in 100 percent chance that won’t happen.

Hello Les, my name is Vance, I am here to comment on the show you are hosting (survive this). I was wandering if the show was still running, because I have not seen it in a while. And, if it is still running, I would like to sign up. I am nearly 13 and i would like to see if I could qualify for the future. I happen to have an abundance of wildlife survival skills, for I take survival trips into the Appalachians for a week or so, and I travel a lot. I can also shoot a bow with deadly skill. I scored 6 A+’s and 2 A’s on my last report card. I can identify 90% of all of the species in north America, I can especially identify reptiles.I can eat absolutely anything no matter how weird. I am also extremely competitive, and believe I would be a great contestant. If you can, get back to me as soon as possible. Thank you.

My sister was in the “CANADA in the ROUGH” T.V show a while back when she was 12. She is now 14 years old. Her name is Amananda Klawitter.
My dad is an avid hunter and fisher and has been doing this as a child and has raised us to be aware of the outdoors. I have had a lot of experienc and would love to have an opportunity to show your audience that a 11 year old is capable of being a contestant as a survivor on your show.

Im 14 years old, 15 in march. Ive been fishing and hunting since i was around 4 years old with my dad and mom . i love being in the outdoors and love the nature. I am able to do a lot, and have extremly good quality’s. I might look like a princess of a girl . bit i can eather me a tom boy or a girly girl at appropriate times. So if you give me this chance id prove you right that i am able to do this .

Hi Les Stroud, I have wanted to go on this show ever since I first watched it, I am 13 years old, and I am in Air Cadets, I LOVE survival, and it would be really cool to go on the show, I like to practice my Survival skills in my spare time, and I have put together my own survival kits in the past. I generally get A’s and B’s in school, and I love meeting new people. I watch Survivorman Almost every day, and in my spare time watch videos about survival. I think that being on “Survive This” would be a great opportunity, and hope you can get back to me. I am from Vancouver Island, British Columbia, and would LOVE to be on the show, I am comfortable with people of all different ages, and I get along with most people. Les, i am 14 years old and i love the outdoors and nature. I always watch your shows and other survival shows. I think i am both mentally and physically strong enough to endure nature at its worst. i have lived in the woods my entire life and i know much about thee wilderness. I don’t need technology of any kind either. I don’t need a phone, or ipod, or t.v. , or Facebook. obviously i use the computer and stuff but i tend to recognize that it just gets in the way sometimes. I think i would be the perfect choice for your challenge. i believe i have what it takes to survive in the wilderness. I hope you pick me!

Hey Les, I’m a country boy from Appomattox VA and I’ve practiced survival and primitive skills my whole life. I’ve love watching your TV show and all but i prefer to be in the woods either hunting,fishing, or hiking and learning and if i get to do this once in a lifetime experience i could learn so much from an expert so i could hone my skills that my fourteen year old self has.
