Do you know when the episode from Minnewaska State Park will air on Discovery…saw a commercial that said Dec. 18th, but it’s not listed in the guide. Is it available on DVD?

  8. Dee says:

What happened to the advertised season begining December 18,2013? The Science Channel advertised during past episodes shown the week of Dec. 1,2013 that the new season begins Weds. Dec. 18,2013 at 10pm on The Science Channel. When I searched the guide on my satillite carrier it showed Survivorman new in that day & time……. but today Dec. 17th its not listed.: o(

I was so excited and looking forward to this……. any ideas?

So happy to see Les back doing his show. Hope it goes on for a very long time.

  27. Robin says:

Les I think your show is thought provoking and intelligent. You so obviously respect and appreciate the environments in which you set yourself. I personally appreciate the fact that you do not kill indiscriminately even if it would benefit your situation. You are a champion of the wild and the human animals place within it.

Thank you for the great television. Finally a reality show worth watching.

  28. Neal Kaye says:

Great News. I’ve already watched 3 episodes on the Science/Discovery Channels. Looking forward to buying the DVD package covering the new season.

  29. Brent Eggleton says:

I just think the work you are doing is great!!!! the survivorman series and of course one of the best shows as well “beyond survival” I love it!! the filming you did is incredible capturing the images of how there life is lived is beyond interesting to me. as for the survivorman show you hit a home run with it. the fact that you are doing all the filming yourself explaines alot of how survival would be done. “alone” with no camera crew. I could go on and on about how much I respect your work but for now. keep the shows coming and will keep the ears and eyes on them. thanks les for providing such educating entertainment for the public.

I would really love to see some new challenges like the dogs of Labrador, that being said horseback in the oxbow would be a challenge worthy of the ultimate survivor. I have been a fan since the show first aired and have probably watched every episode at least twice. Once for me and a second time for my wife, and two more are in our future for my two sons. I can’t think of a better role model than the man who appreciates and respects the few remaining wilds of our earth. Les you are a hero and an inspiration to all who truly see that what you do is not just good TV but important lessons not only for the stranded survivors but for men and women who see what your show’s are really about, to inform and enlighten viewers of the cultures and natural worlds that may not be here for our future generations. Thank you from your future and present biggest fans.

  31. Phil Mutton says:

There around 30 episodes so far, roughly. Including the behind the scenes episodes. Great show but only 30 episodes over a decade. So it’s hard to watch the episodes over and over because there aren’t that many.

I realize how grueling and dangerous it is to make each episode, so I understand why it takes so long.

The main issue is Science channel in the USA has all the information listed wrong, much of the time, and the recent new episodes are hard to find, so I can view them on the actual premier date. I would love to know about episodes 5-8 of the new season. When will they show? Feb Mar, April, Summer, towards the end of the year? I’ve spent a lot of time, looking to see when the last four episodes will be on, and I can’t find a thing.

Les I loved the two episodes in 2012, the 10 day episodes in Norway, and the Mexican island, why only two episodes? because of the grueling 10 schedule or what?

Look forward to the last five episodes of this season, really enjoyed the first three, and I also hope you decide to do at least one or two more seasons of the show, before you call it quits on the grueling survival episodes, I do enjoy them all.

  32. bob says:

Les makes Bear look like a pussy-cat..

  33. DaBadMan says:

I’m just trying to find out when there will be new episodes on. We love u Les but we are tired of reruns. =( we just can’t wait! Btw. As a lifelong student of survival techniques i know the hardships you out your body through to make these shows. Plus you are filming at the same time!!! Amazing! Thank you for what you do!

  34. Stewart Simms says:

It has been wonderful watching new episodes! As the kids say, “Les is the bomb.” There really is nothing else that comes close. Without a doubt my favorite TV show of any kind. What I learned helped me survive a night on a lake when my boat broke down and the things I have learned from Les I have taught others. A buddy of mine used what I had shared with him to survive a night stranded while hunting. Thank you!
