my daughter and myself love your program. we were talking and thought of a great place to show your survival skills. but i really don’t know if i contacted the right site to get this message to you. I’m really used to writtung letters than going on the internet…my son bought me a laptop for my birthday and i’m still trying to get the hang of it. you really make me proud to be a Canadian.

My family and I watch your show weekly. We find it very cool and look forward to more shows , don’t stop your suvivor techniques, I learn from them , my Dad & me are huge outdoor people and my mom is too. I love your show! My PVR is always set to record every episode that comes on no matter what time of day or channel – I don’t want to miss one I might not have seen.
I just received a copy of Snowshoes & Solitude as a gift – can’t wait to watch it. I’m looking forward to some of the other ones as well.
I spend a few nights a year backcountry camping and I’ve got my Chief Scout Award – but I don’t have anywhere close to your skill level. How might one best learn survival techniques?

I absolutely love watching your show!! Yes, there are other survival shows out there but yours is head and shoulders above the rest! You do it alone, you go to some of the toughest places, you pull no punches, plus you’re extremely informative. The only thing that’s bugging me right now is that I’ve seen all your episodes..everything’s a rerun for me!! So I’m anxiously awaiting your new shows…my wife is finally starting to watch with me now as well…that’s more an accomplishment than some of the places you’ve been at, let me tell you!! Please, keep the show going and keep rocking Survivorman!!
Dear Mr. Stroud, you are the TOPS. You make “Bear” look like an amateur. Have you ever considered a “Survivorman” in the Northeastern part of Maine by the Canadian border. I really enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting with a camera (no firearms) up there. Just a thought. I truly do enjoy your show and I even watch the re-runs. I TOO HAVE WAITED TO FINNALLY LEARN THE WORLD WITH OUT THE GADGET.I HAVE WATCHED YOUR SHOWS OVER AND OVER AGIAN. NOW I UNDERSTAND THIS IS NOT A GAME AND SHOULD BE TAKEN SERIOUS. FOR I HAVE SEEN YOU STRUGGLE JUST AS I HAVE IN SOCIETY,BUT TO THE EXTREAME. CITY LIFE IS NOT EASY TO COPE WIT ,BUT AS YOU ARE STRIPPED FROM EVERYTHING,WATER,FOOD,AND LOVED ONES AND THE DAILY ESSTANTIAL WE USE. I DONT KNOW HOW WOULD IT FEEL, TO HAVE MY 7 MONTH YEAR OLD SON NOT WITH ME OR THE SECURTY OF KNOWING I CAN BE THERE TO PROTECT THEM. JUST AS THE ANIMALS YOU ENCOUNTER WOULD DO TO PROTECT THIER YOUNG. WE TAKE THINGS FOR GRANTED.
