Terrific pictures! I’ve saved the mushing one for my desktop image… but I’m wondering about the shark / kitchen table one.. hmmm?
The site is looking great.
Cheers,
Mungo
Love the new wallpapers Les, the photography is amazing!
The Labrador pic is fantastic and really seems to stands out. Very nice work, keep em comming.
Love the pics, Les! I agree…keep’em coming.
Laura does a fantastic job bringing out the beauty of what you do. Kalahari photo with Les in the truck – you can almost feel the heat!
Of course, Les looks good in any situation!
Hi Les … your “Survivorman” show is the only reason I have for turning on the television … I especially like the work you do on the kids’ show (YTV every Tuesday night).
Should time permit, I would like to know what kinds of cameras (all Sonys?) you use … I think they are all tape-based for easier editing.
You are definitely a great role model for the kids … when so few exist today.
Don
great work, mr. stroud, combining something tough as survival with something so delicate as art of filmmaking.. great job!
greetings from mostar, bosnia and herzegovina.
hey! i love the show ‘survivorman’. its great. i read your book, too. i like how you tell the true stories in it. i read it in 2 weeks. i was hooked. i also watch “survive this!” on YTV every teusday. me and my brother really like it.
thanks.
Les, how about a wallpaper where you are NOT wearing a shirt? Thanks from a fellow cameranut, guitarist and outdoorsperson.
greetings from Romania. love your show. big fan of survivorman!
Les is awesome no matter where he is. The standing joke for each Survivorman episode used to be “Will we or won’t we see Les’s butt?” LOL You are always sexy Les! Happy to have you up here with us in Muskoka.
This cat is hard as they come.
nice like it u should come to my houes and i can show i some of my gear i hate man vs wild uggg
Hi Les,
keep up the good work. I really love watching Survivorman.
Great educational show! Lots of respect for what you do,
I think those seven days of surviving must sometimes seem like an eternity…
Greetings from Belgium,
Kenny
Love all the picture’s y’all put up here for wallpapers.
Les have you ever thought of making a Calendar using some of them.
Even one with the beautiful scenery shots y’all get would be great.
Just a suggestion……
Thanks….Take Care and Stay Safe.
Hi Les,
I am a HUGE fan. I bought your book and I absolutely love it! I have the Survivorman logo as my desktop wallpaper. However, what I would like to see is a picture of you engaged in your “Survivorman song” when events during your week pick up and you celebrate a success. I find that moment during an episode cathartic for me and it uplifts my spirits as well, like I am right there with you under the lonely sky. Stay safe. I hope this message finds you, and finds you well.
loveing your wallpaper.
Les, these pictures look fantastic. I’m a huge fan of your work and I’m constantly checking out what you’re doing next. I’ve been camping in Temagami, Ontario for 15 years – kind of in your neck of the woods. When I found out that you were from central Ontario, it sealed the deal for me – true Canadian country. Can’t wait to hear more about what places/problems Les finds himself in. Keep up the amazing work!
Grace & Peace,
Jon
Always been an adventurer myself, surviving is just part of our nature. I’m allready dreaming of seeing the world but thanks to where i’m born it’s very hard for me to chase my dreams, but nothing is holding me back.
I have to see the world, i have to feel and taste everything, it’s all there waiting to be discovered.
I just hope i won’t die with those dreams still on my mind, i wish one day it will become reality.
I’m so sad that Les is not making anymore episodes, looking at his shows was as close as i have ever been to a foreign land.
I don’t have the money and i won’t get the money, i’ll have to live a paleolithic life, doesn’t bothers me as i was always an expert in building treehuts for my friends without using anything else but my bare hands and teeth, besides i feel most at home surrounded by nature.
Anonymous, please don’t give up on your dreams or yourself, ever! No matter what, find a way to keep hope alive. No matter how long it takes, believe in yourself and work towards your goals every day. Remember what Les says, “Do something every day, no matter how small it is, to improve your situation.” I want you to write to me and tell me more about yourself. I would like to know you better.
Les, or those who are representing you, please provide this person with my email address.
When does a new season start? I’m looking for a few new background photos! Thanks.
Les I’m A huge fan of your show I really wish you would reconsider doing at least on more season. Even 5 new episodes would be enough for me. I havve every episode and watch them everyday. Also as an idea consider taking a fan with you on one of your shows. Making a pitch for myself. Great work Mr. Stroud
Lovely pics! Can’t help but to see the similarities between Les and my husband … they look like twins separated at birth!
We both enjoy your Survivorman programmes … we’re also both in the Nature Conservation field.
Great pics! see Mungo beat us all to the first post LOL…
The shows have been great and to see how Les progresses every season with a bit more skill and knowledge is good to watch. Les is walking past opportunities less now as well as me not yelling at the TV as often now….
Survival Bill
Les- hope you’re doing well.
Great work on Survivorman. With so many unreal ‘reality’ shows out there it’s a pleasure to see someone that takes such pride and pleasure in doing something genuine.
I love to hike, not in any areas where such extreme survival techniques have been necessary. Your adventures are as inspiring as they are entertaining.
Keep up the good work. Oh, and if you’ve never hiked in Grand Canyon you must give it a try.
Peace and blessings to you and your family.
(ps- awesome wallpaper. Kayak shot is the best.)
Hi Les, someone mentioned that the only reason he turn on the TV because of your show “survivorman” I would like to say I am too
. Seriously, I LOVE your show and discovery channel is lucky to have Survervivorman as part of its TV guide. On behalf of my friends and family in Saudi Arabia, keep up the good work.
Love all the pictures, but how about a picture of you and Bob from the Temagami episode?
Keep up the great work.look forward to your new projects in the future you have done for Us.
Take Care and Stay Safe Babe
Wow! Great pictures, thanks! We love your show and watch the reruns (over & over). We live not far from the Oregon Hells Canyon; rugged & beautiful. Having been in Search & Rescue… we do yell at you from time to time but you do a great service in teaching basics through technical, as well as really cool tips.
Safe journies.

You’re doing what I’ve always wanted to do and never got the chance. When my little son is tucked safe in his bed I get to live the dream almost every evening!

Awesome pictures. I really enjoy survivor man. Les Stroud is awesome and he makes me want to engage in more outdoors and survival activities.
Cooool!
Bring on some brand new Survivorman episodes Les!
Greetingz from Eric in Sweden!
I always feel like screaming “YES IT’S LES!” When I see him on a show other than Survivor Man like, “I Shouldn’t Be Alive” and “Shark Week” to name a couple. The techniques that I learned from Survivor Man have been added to my own wilderness survival techniques and for that I say THANK YOU SO MUCH! YOU ARE THE BEST EVEN WHEN THE ELEMENTS ARE AT THEIR WORST! If it wasn’t for Les I would be having a terrible time every time I go out in the great beyond!
Hola, Les. These pics are amazing, im going to use one in my pc
. I really like your shows. I like to do trekking and camping, but in winter when i cant, i just see your episodes xD. Saludos desde la patagonia de Chile
Dear brother Les,
I am interested in finding a pair of the Aboriginal patterned type casual shorts you wear in some of your “Beyond Surv.” shows? Where did you get them, are they available to the general public?
Keep up the great work guy! Blessings, Bob W. (Vanc., WA)
